10 Pin IDC Connector Male, also known as insulation displacement contact (IPC), is an electrical connector designed to connect to the conductors of an insulated cable through a selective cutting blade or blades that force a connection process.

By means of insulation, when done correctly, it theoretically provides a reliable leak-proof connection by cold welding the connector blade to the conductor, bypassing the need to strip the insulation before connection.
