5K Stereo Potentiometer is one of the adjustable resistor types whose value changes as the shaft is turned. It is frequently used in places where an intermediate resistance value is needed or in current and voltage control circuits. The resistance value varies between the middle pin and the side pins. Stereo pot means dual potentiometer. Two different systems can be controlled simultaneously.
