The sound sensor board is a board that has a microphone and provides a digital output according to the sound level in the environment. It features a potentiometer that allows you to continuously read a sudden and loud sound, such as a clap or a horn, or ambient noise.

This way, you can isolate the ambient noise and obtain the instantaneous sound output. It can be used with many microcontroller systems, especially Arduino. This product has both analog and digital outputs (there is a trimpot on the product to adjust the sound intensity sensitivity).
