The Easydriver Step motor driver uses the A3967 integrated circuit. The integrated circuit can drive bipolar motors from 6V to 30V and up to a maximum of 700 milliamperes. The circuit includes a potentiometer for controlling the maximum current supplied to the motor, and full step, half step, quarter step, and 1/8 step can be set using the two pins named MS1 and MS2 on the board. It also features protections against overheating, short circuits, low voltage, and cross current. The control of the circuit, which comes with 0.1" (2.54mm) pins, can be easily applied to your Arduino or microcontroller via direction and step pins.
