The Raspberry Pi 5 provides two MIPI connectors for use with displays (DSI) or camera modules. These connectors are smaller than those on previous generation Raspberry Pis, so you will need one of these adapter cables to use your Raspberry Pi touchscreen.

These display cables do not work with camera modules. You will need a different cable for cameras; these are not interchangeable!

One end of these display adapter cables has a 22-way 0.5 mm pitch connector (for the Raspberry Pi 5 end), and the other end has a 15-way 1 mm pitch connector (for your display). These cables are clearly labeled as display, so you won't confuse them with the very similar camera cables.
